Eco Camping

Our campsite is designed to be as eco friendly as possible:

• Hot water for showers and washing up is heated by our wood-fired boiler
• Electricity comes from our solar panels
• Water is pumped up from our boreholes, and is same quality as spring water
• Wood for campfires comes from trees on the farm

A Haven for Nature

Monstay Farm is a traditional working farm located on the Herefordshire and Shropshire border. The campsite sits at the centre of the farm, with over a hundred acres of hill farmland for cattle and sheep farming providing a scenic backdrop.

The farm is home to diverse habitats, from wild flower meadows to establised forests and tranquil ponds. The farm is home to creatures both little, such as our doormice, and large, like our barn owls and herds of deer.
