Space to Stay and Play

Monstay Farm is proud to be a family-friendly campsite. Spread across three fields, the campsite is the perfect place to stay as a family, offering space and freedom for children to safely play and explore.

We do not have fixed pitches, so guests are welcome to pick the perfect spot for their visit. The campsite has large areas for groups and families to camp together, and more private corners for those seeking the peace and tranquility  

Dog Friendly Camping

Family holidays are often not complete unless four-legged companions are with you aswell, so well-behaved dogs are welcome at Monstay. With miles of forest trails to explore directly from the campsite, even the most energetic hounds will have the walks to match.

Please note that on the campsite dogs must be kept on leads at all times, even if sat by tents and caravans.

Campfires & BBQ's

No camping holiday is truly complete without a campfire to gather around! Campfires and BBQ's are allowed off the ground or in designated fire circles at Monstay. Firebowls are available to hire, along with bags of firewood for sale.

Please note, during dry weather campfires may not be permitted, due to the fire hazard.

Get Closer to Nature

The campsite fields are part of Monstay Farm, and are dotted with trees and hedgerows popular with birds and other wildlife. With views over the surrounding countryside and the Welsh mountains in the distance you will

With minimal light pollution and some of the darkest skies in the country, the campsite is fabulous location for stargazing and astronomy.

Mortimer's Forest surrounds Monstay Farm, and miles of forest trails and paths are directly accessible for the farm. The forrest also has downhill mountain bike courses and tracks for horse riding.
