Comfort under Canvas

The stylish tent sits on a dry base in a corner of the campsite but away from the main camping area.  It provides comfortable camping for up to 4 people.

The tent has electricity for low voltage appliances such as lights, laptops and phone charging.

There is a separate rustic kitchen and toilet hut close to the tent, although guests are also welcome to use the main campsite toilet facilities.

What to expect?

The tent offers a conventional double bed along with 2 comfortable chairs that each fold out into single beds.  Bedding can be provided upon request for a modest charge.

The tent has coire matting flooring.

The kitchen and toilet hut has a full set of equipment for camp cooking including a two ring gas cooker and sink outside under a covered roof.  It has a portable toilet and hot shower inside the hut.

Sleep under the Stars

The stargazer's unique feature is the clear panels in the tent roof to allow light in during the day and for night sky viewing after dark (if the sky is clear).

Our site is 3 miles from the nearest town and we have good dark skies.  We are often visited by astronomy clubs.

So you can lie on comfortable beds and see the stars and planets above you.

Outside the Tent

Outside of the tent is a fire bowl and cooking stand along with the utensils for the barbeque.  There is all of the adventure of cooking over a wood fire. We offer a free bag of logs with each stay.

We have also provided 4 high quality chairs and a table for dining outdoors where you can enjoy views of the forest.
